Beg to differ but it is CUMULATIVE CO2 (~1,100 GIGATONS SINCE 1850) that absorb heat and cause warming. Annual net emissions of ~25 gigatons (after land and ocean natural sinks) are small potatoes.
Taking today's global population at 8.1 billion, per capita CO2 at 4.8 tons (probably low, but use it) and increase each by 1% annually, the CUMULATIVE CO2 DO NOTHING after land and ocean sinks is 1,691 GT by 2050. To get to zero by 2050 requires 0.36 GT in 2025, increasing 25% annually. By 2030 this is 11.7 GT, not the much lower value given in this otherwise great writeup by Jason.
